Storytelling Labs

FOR SCHOOLS, YOUTH GROUPS & COMMUNITIES

Hands-on writing, film, and performance workshops where people find their voice, tell their story, and discover who they are becoming.

ABOUT THE LABS

Everyone gets the pen

Our Storytelling Labs bring creative, hands-on sessions to classrooms, youth programs, churches, and community groups. Participants write, film, and perform, and along the way they build confidence, sharpen their voice, and get a clearer picture of who they are and who they want to become.

Every lab is led by working artists and shaped around your group, whether that is a single class period or a series that runs for several weeks.

OUR LABS

Find the lab that fits your group

Every lab can be shaped around your people and your time.

01

Story Rewrite

BEST FOR: ALL AGES

Notice the story you have been telling yourself, then write the next scene differently. Participants map a belief, see how it shapes their choices, and write a version they actually want to live.

02

Becoming Me

BEST FOR: YOUNG ADULTS & HIGH SCHOOL

A lab about identity, voice, and values. Students write about who they are, who they are becoming, and what makes them uniquely them, then share it with their peers.

03

Future Self

BEST FOR: HIGH SCHOOL & YOUNG ADULTS

Participants write scenes and letters from the person they are becoming, then turn that vision into real next steps for school, work, and life.

04

Lights, Camera, Me

BEST FOR: MIDDLE & HIGH SCHOOL

A hands-on film lab where groups write, shoot, and screen a short story using phones and simple gear. Everyone gets a role on set.

05

Spoken Word & Stage

BEST FOR: TEENS & ADULTS

Rooted in theater and performance. Participants shape their words into a piece they can perform, building confidence on stage and off.

06

Legacy Stories

BEST FOR: ADULTS, FAMILIES & ELDERS

Capture the stories that hold a family or community together. Participants interview, write, and preserve memories across generations.
